We have kept a record of how many squares are made and calculate the length our 'virtual scarf' would be if all squares were joined in a line.

Doncaster Branch of the Alzheimer’s Society is involved in providing support and information to people with Dementia their families and carers. We provide several services, which are:
1) Tandem Befriending Service – The purpose of this service is to provide respite care for carers and social outings for people with Dementia.
2) Dementia Cafes – These are social events offering support and information to people with Dementia and their carers.
3) Support Group – The support group is run to offer support and information for Carers of people with Dementia
4) Home Visits – To support Carers and People with dementia who may not be able to access other services.
5) Telephone Support
Caring for someone with Dementia can be an extremely lonely and frustrating time, so it is very important to let as many people know about the services available within Doncaster and ensure we have the money to continue to provide these services to people who need our help.
